Bashkiria Health Ministry explains coronavirus vaccination features in children
In Bashkiria, 2,427 adolescents aged 12 to 17 inclusive have already been vaccinated against the new coronavirus infection Sputnik M. According to the Deputy Minister of Health RB, Irina Kononova, the children go through vaccination well.
“There are very rare cases of temperature rise. Most often - local reactions. However, children have milder COVID-19 symptoms. It is no longer related to social distance but the time spent with a sick person in the same room. The incubation period of the coronavirus has been reduced to a day,” the Deputy Minister said at a weekly briefing of the department.
It should be noted that as of February 8, the total number of infected people in the region reached 145,773 people. During the day, 2,396 new cases of infection were detected. 308 patients are in hospitals, 15,472 people are being treated at home. The number of coronavirus victims increased by 10 in a day.
