Bashkiria sets absolute anti-record of COVID-sick people number
In Bashkiria, an absolute anti-record has been set for the number of coronavirus cases - 1205 new cases per day, the regional Ministry of Health stated.
As Bashinform News Agency, on the eve of the daily increase in cases in the republic amounted to 982 people.
In total, about 134.3 thousand cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the region since the beginning of the pandemic.
“233 people are currently being treated for coronavirus in hospitals, more than half of which are elderly people. Of these, 42 people are in critical condition. More than 7 thousand people are treated on an outpatient basis, of which almost 4.9 thousand are people over 60 years old, ”the press service of the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria emphasized.
Over the past day, 18 people have died from coronavirus infection in the region. In total, almost 4.8 thousand people have become victims of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. Of these, more than 4.1 thousand are older adults.
