Almost one thousand people fell ill with coronavirus in Bashkiria per day
In Bashkiria, 982 people fell ill with coronavirus over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health of the Republic stated. In total, 133 thousand cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the region since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 208 COVID patients in hospitals, more than half of whom are elderly. 42 patients are in serious condition. More than 6,000 people are treated on an outpatient basis, 4,800 of which are people over 60 years old.
“Over the past day, 18 cases of death from COVID-19 were registered in the republic. In total, 4,766 people have died from coronavirus infection since the beginning of the pandemic. Of these, almost 4.1 thousand are elderly people, ”the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria emphasized.
