

In Bashkiria, the vaccination of adolescents from 12 to 18 years old started last week. According to Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic - Minister of Health Maxim Zabelin, 459 teenagers were vaccinated with the Sputnik M vaccine.
In total, 95% of the region's total population to be vaccinated received the COVID-19 vaccine. The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, noted that less than 100,000 citizens remained to be vaccinated.
It should be noted that as of January 31, 132,078 people tested positively for coronavirus in the republic. Maxim Zabelin pointed out that the region was currently in a phase of active epidemiological growth, and the number of cases has increased by 100% in a week.
192 patients are currently being treated in hospitals, 44 are in intensive care. More than 300 thousand residents of Bashkiria have already undergone revaccination.
