Rosstat recorded increase in birth rate in Bashkiria in November
The birth rate in November 2021 compared to 2020 increased by 5.2%
According to Rosstat, in November 3,275 children were born in the republic, which is 161 more babies than in the same period in 2020. The increase was plus 5.2%. In terms of the growth rate, the region took third place among the regions of the Volga region, across the country - the sixth.
In general, from January to November 2021, 36,136 babies were born in Bashkortostan, which is 3.7% less than a year earlier.
It is noteworthy that the number of babies born third and subsequent is growing in the families of the republic, the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Protection RB specifies. During this period, 11,159 such children were born, which is more by 420 babies or 103.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2020.
