Bashkiria Emergency Situations Ministry warned of ice on New Year's Eve

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic warns of ice and frost, which will come on December 31. So, in Bashkiria, light snow and wind with gusts of up to 10 m / s are expected.

"The air temperature at night is expected to be -14, -19 С, down to -23, -28 C in the bright periods, the forecast for the day - up to -8, -13 C. On some road sections - ice, snow, fog at night and in the morning the reduced visibility up to 500-1000 meters is possible", the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

In Ufa, the minimum daytime air temperature will reach -10 C; at night, it will get colder to -20 C. Rescuers ask motorists to be careful, as fog, ice, and snow are predicted.
