Frosts will fade away: updated weather forecast on New Year's Eve in Bashkiria
According to the Bashhydrometeorological Center, a cold snap after the snowfalls and blizzards will cover the republic on December 26.
From December 28 to 30, the air temperature will drop at night from -18, -23 C to -22, -27 C with lows of -30, -35 C in the bright periods. It will range from -15, -20 C to -18, -23 C in the daytime. Light occasional snow showers will be possible.
On the last day of the old year, frosts will begin to fade away under the onslaught of a warmer air mass.
According to preliminary data, abnormal weather events are not likely on New Year's Eve in the republic. Moderately frosty weather will prevail with an air temperature of -10, -15 C, in some places down to -20 C. In Ufa -11, -13 C. On the first day of the New Year, the air temperature is expected to be within -6, -11 C, in Ufa -8, -10 C. Light occasional snow showers, ice phenomena are possible in some places.
