"Olympic Park" owner Ildar Khusnutdinov appealed to Russian Investigative Committee Chairman

Entrepreneur Ildar Khusnutdinov, who owns Olympic Park and the Hotel Lido located there, published a video message to the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, the Kommersant newspaper reports.

In the appeal, he notes that he conducts business "in the field of legislative regulation, including in the field of land and property relations, mainly with the municipal authorities."

 "Circumstances developed in such a way that one of the objects that has been destroyed today by a court decision, this hotel for 52 beds, maybe the reason and cause of the destruction of the entire complex, and therefore my business, which was built to support children and youth sports," Ildar Khusnutdinov said.

The businessman asked the head of the ICR "to check the facts stated in his report and documents related to the work of the Olympic Park complex, to give a legal assessment and legal response.

As Bashinform News Agency previously informed, the building of the Lido Hotel is being demolished due to the decision of the Arbitration Court of Bashkiria dated 2016. In the afternoon of December 21, heavy equipment arrived there. "No petitions have been received from the city administration; the enforcement actions are continuing," the bailiffs' service explained.

According to the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Bashkortostan Denis Chernyatyev to report on the situation with the demolition of the building, as well as to check the arguments set out in the appeal.
