491 people got infected with COVID in Bashkiria on Saturday

According to the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, 491 people fell ill with COVID in the region over Saturday. 280 people were admitted to hospitals, of which 189 patients were over 60 years old. 79 are in serious condition, 5 people are supported with lung ventilation.

6,547 people are treated on an outpatient basis, most of them are over the age of 60 (4,152).

Over the past day, 473 people were discharged.

There have been 25 deaths from COVID-19. The total death toll is 4,146 people, including 3,741 people over the age of 60.

41 people were admitted to hospitals with community-acquired pneumonia per day, 87 were discharged.

As for vaccination, 2,131,733 people jabbed the first dose (85.8% of the plan). 1 953 476 people (78.5%) completed vaccination.

During the day, 7,211 residents of the republic were administered the vaccine (1 dose - 3,030, 2 dose - 4,181).

553 959 people over 60 years of age were vaccinated with the first dose, 505 619 people with the second. Total, there are 890 387 people over 60 in the republic.

It is required to vaccinate 2,484,667 residents of the republic, the Ministry of Health RB recalled.
