

The Health Minister of Bashkiria announced the vaccination of his minor son with Sputnik M in Moscow as a volunteer. He informed about it at a meeting of the State Assembly RB.
Maxim Zabelin also stated that the Sputnik M coronavirus vaccine for adolescents aged 12 to 18 would arrive in Bashkiria shortly.
Sputnik M, a drug designed for the vaccination of adolescents, is based on the Sputnik V vaccine and consists of two doses administered at intervals of 21 days. Preventive vaccinations for children under the age of 15 will be carried out either with the informed, voluntary consent of the parents or legal representatives of minors or with the consent of the minor himself if he is over 15 years old.
Maxim Zabelin also recalled the planned vaccination rate of the adult population in the region. It is 80% - 2,484,667 people. The Deputy Prime Minister said that more than 2.74 million doses of all vaccines registered in the Russian Federation had been delivered to the republic.
