279 people moved to Bashkiria for three years under compatriots resettlement program

In Bashkortostan, the conditions and requirements for the participation of compatriots in a special subprogram of the state program "Regulation of the labor market and promotion of employment in the Republic of Bashkortostan" have been relaxed. This was reported by the press service of the Government RB.

"In particular, restrictions on the spheres of activity of participants in the state program, requirements for work experience have been canceled," the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection RB Lenara Ivanova said. "The corresponding changes to the subprogram on the compatriots' resettlement were introduced by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan (dated November 23, 2021). In the long term, we see this program as an effective mechanism to reduce the shortage of labor resources by attracting compatriots of working age and accommodating its participants and their families in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The subprogram "Assisting the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Republic of Bashkortostan" has been implemented in the region since 2018. It aims to support migrants in their new places of residence in the Republic of Bashkortostan. One of the main targets of the subprogram is to increase the number of young people, including those receiving education in professional educational organizations of the republic's universities.
