Mikhail Mishustin announced new anti-COVID measures in Russia

On behalf of Vladimir Putin, the Russian government is completing the preparation of an updated action plan to protect the population from coronavirus. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin spoke about this at a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council for Combating COVID-19.

According to the prime minister, the new plan includes sanitary and epidemiological measures and comprehensive solutions to protect the health of citizens.

“First of all, it is necessary to create barriers and reduce the rate of COVID penetration into our country, as well as increase the volume of production of test systems for the diagnosis and early detection of this infection. We will continue to maintain the readiness of the healthcare infrastructure throughout Russia. Temporary guidelines for treating patients with coronavirus will be updated taking into account international experience”, he said.

As we said earlier, by order of the chief sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation, the PCR test result is now valid for only 48 hours.

In Bashkiria, more than 1.8 million people were fully vaccinated against COVID-19; this is almost 73% of the population subject to vaccination. From December 18, unvaccinated citizens subject to compulsory vaccination will be suspended from work without pay. Vaccinations must be done by employees of medical organizations, education, social services, services, transport, industry, construction and agriculture, law enforcement officers, and military personnel. Fines for employers range from 200 to 500 thousand rubles.
