1524 people died from coronavirus in Bashkiria in October - Rosstat
In October this year, 8 736 thousand people died in Bashkiria, 1524 of them from coronavirus. Rosstat published mortality statistics.
For comparison, in October last year, there were only 9 deaths from COVID-19.
The cause of death of 45 people was attributed to other conditions. The infection was not the main cause of death but influenced the development of other diseases that accelerated death - in 6 people, and was diagnosed, but did not affect the death outcome - in 39 people.
In total, since the beginning of the year, from January to October 2021, 54,912 residents of the region have died. Since the beginning of the year, the natural population decline amounted to 22,051 people.
