Head of Bashkiria met with new RGD Pererabotka CEO Leonid Alekhin

On December 2, in Salavat, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with the new CEO of RGD Pererabotka Salavat LLC (a subsidiary of RusGazDobycha JSC) Leonid Alekhin, who will become the head of the petrochemical complex Gazprom neftekhim Salavat. He was presented by Konstantin Makhov, General Director of JSC RusGazDobycha.

The parties discussed the development prospects of the city-forming enterprise Gazprom neftekhim Salavat and interaction with the republic in joint projects. In May 2021, PJSC Gazprom and JSC RusGazDobycha agreed on the transfer of management of the Gazprom neftekhim Salavat oil refining complex to RGD Pererabotka Salavat.

Konstantin Makhov said that large-scale modernization was being carried out at the Salavat petrochemical complex. As part of the investment project, a hydrogen production unit was launched at the enterprise in September last year. Radiy Khabirov launched the new complex at the specialized exhibition "Gas. Oil. Technologies - 2020".

Gazprom neftekhim Salavat LLC is one of the largest petrochemical enterprises in Russia, founded in 1948, integrated into the PJSC Gazprom system. It carries out a full cycle of processing of hydrocarbon raw materials and manufactures more than 130 types of products. At the same time, the depth of processing of raw materials exceeds 90 percent. Following nine months of 2021, the industrial production index at the enterprise amounted to 97.6 percent, which is associated with a change in the range of products.
