Bashkiria hit the Top 5 best Russian ski resorts for the New Year holidays. This was told by the press service of the State Committee for Tourism of Bashkiria referring to the tourist portal "TourStat", which visitors made a rating. More than fifty thousand people participated in an online survey on the best resorts to celebrate the upcoming New Year. Thanks to their voices, the "Abzakovo" ski center, which is located in the Beloretsky region of the republic, took the fourth line.

This news was commented on by the acting chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of Bashkiria Rinat Fatkullin.

"The ridges of the Ural Mountains, located on the territory of Bashkortostan, have been a point of attraction for fans of alpine skiing from many regions of Russia for many years. Moreover, this is quite understandable - there are several excellent alpine winter sports centers here, one of which is Abzakovo," he said.

The State Committee added that "due to the constant flow of tourists, infrastructure is developing locally, points of sale of goods and services appear, and all these factors affect the region's economy and attract small and medium-sized businesses to cooperation."

The Rosa Khutor resorts in Sochi and Elbrus in Kabardino-Balkaria topped the rating, the Belokurikha resort in the Altai Territory took third place, and Sheregesh in the Kemerovo Region took the fifth place.
