"Urban Legends" mobile application was launched in Ufa implemented with Rostourism grant

In Ufa, an "Urban Legends" mobile application has been launched, which contains the author's excursions around the capital of Bashkortostan and unusual routes for thematic walks. The service is intended for residents and guests of the Bashkir capital - for each user, the authors tried to find interesting topics and locations. The project is one of 17 regional projects winners of the competition of the Federal Agency for Tourism providing subsidies for domestic and inbound tourism development in 2020. The size of the grant received by the entrepreneur is 2.4 million rubles.

The project was created with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism, the State Committee for Tourism RB, the Administration of Ufa, and the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University. First of all, the mobile assistant guide aims to increase the long-term interest in excursions both among residents of Ufa and the republic and among tourists. The selection of recommended excursion routes and excursion sights will be carried out, taking into account the seasonality and user preferences.

"With the help of a mobile guide, any person with a smartphone at a convenient time and pace will be able to take an exciting walk, learn new things about, perhaps, already well-known streets and objects, or just discover Ufa, a city with a centuries-old history. Points and levels are awarded, which open bonuses and gifts of the project partners ", Olga Khairetdinova, an entrepreneur and author of the project, said.
