Unvaccinated employees will be suspended from work in Bashkiria since December 18

In Bashkiria, starting December 18, employers will have to suspend workers without a QR code on vaccination or a certificate of the previous illness with COVID-19.

In October, the chief sanitary doctor of the republic signed a decree on compulsory vaccination against coronavirus for some categories of citizens. As follows from the document, employees of medical organizations, education, social services, transport and transport, employees of law enforcement and supervisory bodies, employees working at checkpoints across the country's border at the Ufa airport, military personnel, representatives of the service sector and consumer services, client departments of financial organizations and postal services are obliged to get vaccinated. A complete list is available on the link. Since November 11, this list includes workers in the industry, construction and design, agriculture, and the processing industry, including employees working on a civil law contract.

The resolution applies to organizations of all forms of ownership. The total percentage of vaccinated employees should be at the level of 80%; the remaining 20% of workers can be employees with medical exemptions and other employees: people on training, on maternity leave, and business trips. The first vaccination dose for employees had to be done by November 18, and the vaccination must be completed by December 18, 2021.

Employers have every right to suspend an employee refusing to vaccinate from work, citing a violation of the Federal Law on immunization provisions. During the period of suspension from work, salary retention is not provided.

According to the Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Bashkortostan, this measure was taken in the region due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation for the new coronavirus infection and the emergence of a threat to the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population.

As the Ministry of Health RB informs, as of November 30, 1,979,481 people were vaccinated with the first dose in the republic (79.7% of the population subject to vaccination). 1,722,936 people fully completed vaccination (1 and 2 doses) - 69.3% of the subject population.
