

More than 1.705 million people have been completed vaccination in Bashkiria. This is 68.6 percent of the region's population subject to vaccination against the new coronavirus infection, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the region stressed.
As the Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, about 2.485 million people should be vaccinated against COVID-19 in the republic.
To date, Bashkiria has received more than 2.457 million doses of vaccines against coronavirus infection. Over 1.965 million people jabbed the first dose of the vaccine, or 79.1 percent of the population to be vaccinated.
"The total population of the republic over 60 is currently over 890 thousand people. Of these, about 503 thousand people were vaccinated with the first dose, and more than 431 thousand elderly people with the second dose," the regional Ministry of Health informs.
In total, over the last day in the republic, almost 13.7 thousand people were vaccinated with the first and second doses.
