Anti-record for deaths number from coronavirus has been set in Bashkiria
Over the past day, 674 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Bashkiria. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, almost 103.7 thousand such cases have been registered in the republic, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the region reported.
At the moment, 540 people are treated in hospitals of the republic, of which more than 350 people are over 60 years old.
102 are in serious condition, four of them are supported with lung ventilators. Over 7.1 thousand people are treated on an outpatient basis, of which almost 5.4 thousand are patients over 60 years old.
“During the day, 38 deaths from COVID-19 were registered in the region. In total, 3,418 people have died in Bashkiria since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 3,042 are elderly people,” the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria stressed.
