Vaccination for 67 percent of population is completed in Bashkiria
In Bashkiria, more than 1.667 million people, or 67.1 percent of the population to be vaccinated, jabbed both doses of the anti-coronavirus vaccine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the region.
In total, about 2.485 million people are planned to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in the republic.
To date, Bashkiria has received almost 2.455 million doses of vaccines against coronavirus infection. Nearly 1.935 million people jabbed the first dose of the vaccine, or 77.9 percent of the population to be vaccinated.
“The total population of the republic over 60 now exceeds 890 thousand people. Of these, more than 492 thousand people were vaccinated with the first dose, and about 420 thousand elderly people with the second dose,” the regional Ministry of Health stated.
In total, over the past 24 hours, almost 30.5 thousand people have been vaccinated with the first and second doses in the republic.
