Main New-Year Tree was installed in capital of Bashkiria

On the night of November 25, the main New-Year Tree was installed in Ufa. Traditionally, it was brought from the Blagoveshchensk region of the republic.

The tree is 35 meters high and 85 years old. Soon, the tree will begin to be decorated, and an ice town will be made with the figures of Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden and three arches in the form of large festive balls. A star and snowflakes will be installed there. There will be an LED canopy behind the tree above the fountain and a console in the form of butterflies on the outdoor lighting poles.

"Taking into account the unfavorable epidemiological situation, the number of sites with ice towns and New-Year Trees will be increased in comparison with the previous year. So, in 2019 there were 85 sites, in 2020 - 247, this year 321 sites will be arranged", the press service of the Ufa mayor's office informs.

Work on the New Year's decoration of the city is planned to be completed by December 1.
