

Another excess of the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances in the air was recorded in the capital of Bashkiria. According to official data, the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.7 MPC at the air pollution observation point No. 5 of the Bashkir Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (Prospect Oktyabrya, 141) on the evening of November 8.
Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that on November 9, popping was heard in the Ufa industrial zone, and a fire started at one of the industrial plants. The specialists promptly arranged for the arrival of the mobile air pollution monitoring station. According to preliminary data, the excess of MPC was not recorded.
