Almost 10 thousand fires have occurred in Bashkiria since beginning of 2021
As of November 8, 2021, 9995 fires were registered in the region, in which 219 people died, including 13 children, 203 people were injured.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bashkiria named the major causes of the fires.
"This is careless handling of fire - 6,237 fires (62.4%), violation of the rules for the construction and operation of electrical equipment - 1,675 fires (16.7%) and violation of the rules for the design and operation of furnaces - 905 fires (9%)," the Ministry, and recommended to observe fire safety rules when using heating devices and when operating stove heating, to prevent careless, negligent handling of fire.
