Minecraft-kurai was played for first time in Bashkiria
The four-sided kurai was made from a metal profile at a furniture production near Ufa.
According to the author of the invention, Rafis Atanov had an idea to add sound to the metal profile by chance.
"It is part of a dish drying design. We did not make any changes in size. We just drilled holes. For the first time, my brother Shamil played on the four-sided kurai. He is a professional kurai player, we work together in the furniture industry, and in his free time, he continues to play the instrument," Rafis said.
According to him, the inhabitants of Bashkiria were interested in a new type of kurai, and in case of increased demand, Ufa furniture makers are ready to master the production of a musical instrument.
