Full lockdown for non-working days period is not imposed in Bashkiria

The vast majority of organizations will continue to work if necessary.

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, has made new amendments to the decree on high alert in connection with the threat of the coronavirus spread.

According to the latest version of the document dated October 29, it is recommended to cancel, and if it is impossible, to postpone business, cultural, entertainment, and sports events with more than 30 participants. An exception is the activities that are carried out based on the decision of the regional emergency operations center.

During the non-working days from October 30 to November 7, 2021, established by the decree of the President of Russia, the republican organizations of culture and health will continue their planned activities.

Entertainment events and the provision of catering services are prohibited from 11 pm to 6 am, except for distance selling (delivery).

The work of children's playrooms and children's entertainment centers is suspended. At the same time, it will be possible to visit shopping centers, beauty parlors, fitness centers by presenting a certificate of vaccination from the State Services, a certificate of previous illness a maximum of six months ago, or a certificate of medical contraindications, certified by the attending physician and the head physician. Let us add that a certificate of medical contraindications is valid only if there is a negative PCR test received no later than 72 hours in advance. Visitors also need to have a passport or driver's license with them to verify their identity.

From October 29, 2021, residents over the age of 60 and suffering from chronic diseases must comply with the mandatory self-isolation regime, with the exception of those who have a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus obtained using the State Services portal (in electronic or printed form), or a certificate of COVID-2019 postponed within six months.

Another innovation concerns workers who have been vaccinated against coronavirus. After vaccination, they are encouraged to give two days off with pay.
