

According to the regional Rospotrebnadzor, in the 42nd week of this year (October 18-24, 2021), 34 798 acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) cases were registered in Bashkiria, including 12 236 cases in children, which is 35.2% of the total cases.
The incidence of ARVI is 80.3% higher than the epidemic threshold. Compared to the previous week, there is a decrease in the incidence of 7.1%.
The incidence of influenza in the republic is currently not registered.
The department also said that as of October 22, 1,232,646 people were vaccinated from the flu in Bashkiria. Of these, the adult population is 1,100,355 people, 132,060 are children. At the expense of additional funds, 3000 people were vaccinated, including 2519 children.
