In Bashkiria this week, a final decision will be made on the location of two more infectious diseases hospitals. Then, the construction of hospitals will begin, Prime Minister of the Republic Andrey Nazarov said at a briefing session.
The Head of the Region, Radiy Khabirov, announced the decision to build COVID hospitals in the cities of Oktyabrsky and Sibay during a conversation with residents of the village of Dautovo, Abzelilovsky district.
“The site in Sibay has already been selected; there is an opportunity to perform construction works promptly. In the city of Oktyabrsky, there is no suitable site for a hospital, so a place near the town of Tuymazy will be more convenient for agglomeration. On this Wednesday, the sites for planting structures will already be approved; we will discuss competitive procedures that will allow us to erect these facilities quickly. We are looking for financial opportunities with the Ministry of Finance; there are some. We will report everything by the end of the week and start construction,” Andrey Nazarov said.
The Ministry of Health has been instructed to start forming teams of future hospitals.
Note that now there are two largest infectious diseases centers in the republic - in Ufa and Sterlitamak. The facilities were built in a short time.
