13% of infectious beds are still available in Bashkiria

According to him, 8 155 infectious beds have been deployed throughout the republic to treat patients with COVID-19.

"At the same time, we have a sufficient capacity - 13%, which is just over 1000 available beds. Such a reserve allows us to manage hospitalization promptly, both in the city of Ufa and in other inter-district and regional infectious diseases centers," the minister said. He also noted that Bashkiria ranks 81st in the country regarding the incidence of new coronavirus infection among residents. Over the past 24 hours, the diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed in 670 people. Thus, the total number of infected people in the republic since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 82 149 people.

584 patients recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, a total of 71 396 people.

7,339 patients continue outpatient treatment; 1003 patients are in hospitals. Of these, 73 patients remain in intensive care units.

As of October 25, in Bashkiria, 1 million 564 thousand people (50.4% of the total adult population) were vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine, and 1 million 300 thousand people (41% of the total adult population) with the second dose.
