Russians should refrain from traveling to other regions of the country not to complicate the coronavirus situation there. Tatiana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the country's government, said this at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The number of occupied hospital beds for patients with coronavirus in Russia is 86.6%, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
"To date, 276.5 thousand beds have been deployed in the Russian Federation, of which 66.1% are equipped with oxygen supply. As of yesterday morning, 86.6% of beds were occupied in the country as a whole," she said.
Golikova added that in 40 regions, the bed occupancy rate exceeded the national average, and in 27 regions, it was more than 90%.
She stressed that "the most difficult situation is in the Stavropol Territory, the Republic of Adygea, the Chelyabinsk, Oryol, Amur, Samara, Saratov regions, where bed occupancy exceeds 95 percent".
