36,886 people were vaccinated against coronavirus in Bashkiria over past day

Thus, the total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in the republic reached 1,479,634 people with the first dose and 1,274,766 with the second dose. To date, the republic has received 1,911,248 doses of the vaccine.

According to the regional Ministry of Health, as of October 20, the number of people infected with the new coronavirus increased to 78 805 people, 668 of whom learned about their illness in the last 24 hours. One thousand thirty-three people remain in hospitals under medical supervision; 652 of them are people over 60 years old. The condition of 58 patients is assessed as severe; 14 patients need the support of lung ventilators. 7,321 residents of the republic are undergoing treatment at home, including 5,241 people from the 60+ category.

68,219 people were discharged with recovery, of which 648 - in the last 24 hours.

There have been 37 deaths from COVID-19. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,232 residents of the republic have become victims of the coronavirus.
