Hydrometeorological center announced what weather would like in Ufa in coming winter

The Hydrometeorological Center published a probabilistic forecast of the temperature pattern in Ufa for the period - from October 2021 to March 2022. In December, the average temperature below normal is predicted in most of the Volga Federal District. Still, February is expected to be warmer than last year in most of the country. In the remaining months, the air temperature will be within normal limits.

Thus, for Ufa, the average monthly temperature in October will be +3.3 C, in November -4.2 C, in December -10.8 C, in January -14.8 C, in February -13.3 C, and in March -6 C.

“The accuracy of the forecasts of the temperature regime for the heating period, issued by the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, has fluctuated within the range of 58-81% over the past 20 years. This information is focused on its use by federal executive authorities to assess the risks of natural emergencies in the interests of energy, transport, agriculture sectors. During the cold period of 2021-2022, the probabilistic weather forecast will be corrected by monthly, ten-day, and short-term weather forecasts,” the press service of Hydrometeorological Center explained.
