Coronavirus vaccination is completed for 1.160 million residents of Bashkiria

According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, more than 1.759 million doses of "anti-coronavirus" vaccines have been delivered to the region. Acting Minister of Health Azat Rakhmatullin announced this on Monday at a briefing session in the republican government.

According to him, almost 1.269 million people or 72.1 percent of the received vaccine were vaccinated with the first component. Vaccinations for both components have been fully completed for 1.160 million people, which is 65 percent of the vaccines supplied to Bashkiria.

"There are 203 vaccination points organized in the republic. They all work normally. Vaccines are available," Azat Rakhmatullin emphasized.

As reported by Bashinform News Agency, by the morning of September 27, more than 65.6 thousand cases of coronavirus were detected in the region. Over the past week, 2,806 people got infected, which is 27.2% more than in the previous week.

Now in Bashkiria, there are the two largest infectious diseases centers in Ufa and Sterlitamak. Both are overflowing. Therefore, it is planned to additionally deploy four more COVID hospitals for 770 beds in the region.
