Bashkortostan took first place in number of applications submitted to Russian Event Awards

Accepting applications for participation in the Regional Competition of the National Award in Russian Event Awards 2021 of the Volga and Ural Federal Districts has ended. A total of 273 projects from 19 regions have been announced.

Aigul Utyaganova, deputy head of the project office of the Tourism Development Center, told the Bashinform News Agency that Bashkortostan submitted 63 events. This is the largest number in the Urals and the Volga Federal District. The Ulyanovsk region followed it with 41 projects announced. Then there were the Samara and Sverdlovsk regions, which submitted 29 events each.

On September 28, absentee selection of applications for the regional stage will begin, which for our regions will be held on October 7-9 in Perm.

The Russian Event Awards, a national award in the field of event tourism, was established in 2012 at the initiative of Gennady Shatalov as an industry award awarded following an open competition of projects for achievements in the development of the event tourism industry. The founders of the award: FROS Region PR and Production Center Content LLC.
