Coronavirus is suspected in almost two thousand children Bashkiria

According to official data, as of September 16, 2021, the diagnosis of the new coronavirus infection was confirmed in 322 children from Bashkiria, 89 of whom are in COVID hospitals. Over the past 24 hours, the diagnosis was confirmed in 64 minors. In total, 1.8 thousand children in the republic are under observation with suspected COVID-19, RBC-Ufa reports.

Earlier, the Minister of Education and Science of Bashkiria, Aibulat Khazhin, said that the incidence of a new coronavirus infection among schoolchildren has increased in the region with the beginning of the school year. Most of them are over 15 years old.

According to the emergency operations center of the republic, today, the diagnosis of COVID-19 has been confirmed in 61,930 people. 314 tested positively in the last 24 hours. Fifteen patients died.
