11 popular ethnic artists sang in Google Russia project "Together On Our Own"

A song from the cartoon "The Bremen Town Musicians" by composer Gennady Gladkov to the words of Yuri Entin was chosen for the joint performance.

Fragments in Chuvash, Udmurt, Nenets, Komi, Permian Komi, Yakut, Adyghe (the language of Kabardins and Circassians), Erzyan, Russian, Tatar, and Bashkir languages were edited into the clip. They were performed by national pop artists popular in their regions. The winner of the ninth season of the show "The Voice" Yana Gabbasova from Neftekamsk, sang in Bashkir.

These performers became winners of the "Together On Our Own" competition, a joint project of Google Russia and the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It aims to highlight the cultural diversity of Russia and support people creating content in local languages.
