Head of Beloretsky region is concerned with forest fires situation and asking for help

The Head of the Beloretsky region, Andrey Ivanyuta, called the situation with forest fires in the region difficult and asked the republic residents for help.

“The situation with forest fires remains dire. Four fires remain active in the district: two in the Inzerskaya zone and one each in the Kaginsky and Tirlyansky forestries. Another wildfire broke out today in the city limits near the ski slope. Its area is about 1.9 hectares”, he posted on his social media.

The most challenging is the situation in the Muldakaevsky forestry. According to the Head of the Region, the fire is still not localized.

“More than 850 hectares of open burning is there. The area is of hard access. We are doing everything possible to prevent the spread of the fire to the settlements of the Beloretsky and Arkhangelsky regions. We are trying to localize it with the help of heavy equipment; we are making mineralized strips,”said Andrey Ivanyuta.

This morning, the Head of the Beloretsk region wrote a new post and asked for help:

“I am at the site of the fire in Beloretsk, near the ski base. The fire is gaining momentum; we need the help of strong, physically prepared men to contain the fire,” the municipality head said.
