Dmitry Chernyshenko and Igor Komarov discussed approaches to Volga Federal District socio-economic development
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko held a meeting with the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov. It was held at the Coordination Center of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The Deputy Prime Minister demonstrated to the Plenipotentiary Envoy the capabilities and tools of the center for the prompt resolving of regular and emergency situations and for achieving national goals and implementing federal projects.
During the meeting, Dmitry Chernyshenko and Igor Komarov discussed the approaches for the socio-economic development of the Volga Federal District. This is the key task set by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin to the Deputy Prime Ministers - the curators of the federal districts.
“At present, at the expense of the resources of the District Center for Regional Management, we are monitoring economic and social trends in the subjects of the Volga Federal District, including paying close attention to the vaccination of the population. The use of new digital systems will allow a deeper understanding of these processes, ” Igor Komarov stated.
In particular, it is planned to create a new instrument at the Coordination Center - a regional monitoring system. It will include key performance indicators, a list of priority regional projects and their implementation status, as well as key issues to be addressed.
Dmitry Chernyshenko and Igor Komarov also discussed the agenda of the planned meeting with the heads of the Volga Federal District, which is planned in Samara on September 9. Strategic planning in the regions of the district will be considered there.
