4500 schoolchildren will visit vocational guidance zone of WorldSkills Russia National Final

4.5 thousand schoolchildren from districts and cities of Bashkiria will visit the vocational guidance zone of the Final IX of the National WorldSkills Championship in Ufa.

The children will have an opportunity to work on a welding machine, try themselves in controlling an industrial robot and in programming, take part in a master class on the “Healing Activity” competence, measure sugar levels with a glucometer, and work on a 3D printer.

In total, 40 sites are open for visiting for everyone: they will be open until August 29.

Recall that today, on August 25, the WorldSkills Russia National Final opens in Ufa - the largest professional skill competition in Russia according to WorldSkills standards among students of secondary vocational and higher educational institutions aged 16 to 25 and schoolchildren under 16 years old.

The opening ceremony will take place in Vatan Park, the beginning is at 8.00 pm.

This year the championship will take place from August 25 to 29 in Ufa.

The Bashkortostan team will take part in competitions in 103 competencies. The national team of the republic includes 498 people - 280 competitors and 218 experts. In total, the competition will bring together teams from 76 regions of Russia.

They will show their skills in 105 competencies. The competencies themselves are divided into seven blocks: construction and construction technologies, information and communication technologies, creativity and design, production and engineering technologies, services, transport and logistics, and education.
