International online symposium of beekeepers will be held in Ufa

The international online symposium of beekeepers will be held in Ufa on September 20-21. The event entitled "Global Trends in Beekeeping Development" is timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Apimondia Congress in Moscow and will be held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the Apimondia Secretariat, and the government of Bashkortostan.

The symposium will be attended by speakers from Bashkortostan, Russia, and foreign participants. They are leading scientists in genetics, bee health, beekeeping economics, and practicing beekeepers.

Also, within the framework of the online symposium, an online exhibition will be held, which will allow a large-scale demonstration of the achievements of the Russian regions in beekeeping and present specialized enterprises to promote their goods and services to foreign markets.

During the symposium, presentation videos on the achievements of the regions of the Russian Federation in the field of beekeeping will be demonstrated.

The International Online Symposium will be an event that contributes to the preparation for the main event - the 47th Apimondia Congress, which will be held in early September 2022 in Ufa.

The decision to hold the International Online Symposium was made in November 2020, when the postponement of the 47th Apimondia Congress to 2022 was announced. The main goal of the upcoming symposium is to keep the world's beekeepers interested in the Congress in 2022 and actively promote it.
