Competitions in 23 industrial competencies will be held in Ufa at WorldSkills Russia national final

On August 23, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and Prime Minister of the Government Andrei Nazarov met with the participants of the Final of the IX National Championship "Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)".

"Industrial production in Bashkortostan plays a significant role in the development of the region's economy. This is more than 800 industrial enterprises, so we have the largest team of professional skills: 52 participants in 23 competencies. We expect interesting competitions and bright victories. Good luck! We are always proud of our guys!" the Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alexander Sheldyaev noted.

The WorldSkills Russia National Final is the largest professional skill competition in Russia according to WorldSkills standards among students of secondary vocational and higher educational institutions aged 16 to 25 and schoolchildren under 16.

The event is held annually as part of the federal project "Young Professionals" included in the national project "Education." The national team of the republic includes 498 people - 280 competitors and 218 experts.

In total, the competition will bring together teams from 76 regions of Russia. They will show their skills in 105 competencies. The competencies themselves are divided into seven blocks: construction and construction technologies, information and communication technologies, creativity and design, production and engineering technologies, services, transport and logistics, and education.
