Russia will lift restrictions on flights to Czech Republic, South Korea and Dominican Republic

Russia will resume flights with three more countries. From August 27, restrictions will be lifted on flights to the Dominican Republic, the Czech Republic, and South Korea, TASS reports. The decision to resume flights was made due to the epidemiological situation.
From August 27, Russia will triple the number of regular flights to Egypt on the Moscow-Hurghada and Moscow-Sharm el-Sheikh routes - from 5 to 15 flights per week on each route.
The number of regular flights between Russia and Hungary, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan will also increase. Air traffic with Hungary and Cyprus was resumed in June, with Tajikistan in April, and with Kyrgyzstan last year. The increase in the number of flights is also planned from August 27.
It has been decided not to resume air traffic with Tanzania yet, the headquarters said, due to the epidemic situation in this country.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that from August 9, Russia resumes flights with the resorts of Egypt - with Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh. There will be five flights a week on each route. In early July this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin canceled a decree banning flights to Egyptian resorts and a recommendation for tour operators and travel agents to refrain from selling tours to this country.
Flights from Russia to Cairo were interrupted in November 2015 due to the crash of a Russian airliner over the Sinai Peninsula, then resumed in April 2018, but the Egyptian resorts remained closed. Then flights between the two countries were interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in September last year, flights from Moscow to Cairo resumed.
