Over 67% of teachers in Bashkiria are vaccinated against COVID-19

Currently, 67.5% of teachers in Bashkiria are vaccinated against COVID-19. The level of vaccinated teachers in the region must be brought to at least 80 percent, the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov noted today, August 13, at the August teachers' council in Ufa.

The Head of the Region instructed the Ministry of Education to continue work on vaccination of pedagogical collectives.

According to the Head, at the moment, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the republic allows schools to start a new academic year in the usual full-time format. However, if the situation changes unexpectedly, other decisions will have to be made, he added.

In the context of the coronavirus pandemic, schools must comply with the following requirements; this is a social distance and a strict mask regime for adults, Radiy Khabirov said.
