One-millionth resident of Bashkiria is vaccinated against coronavirus

This week, the millionth resident of Bashkiria was jabbed with coronavirus vaccine. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Maxim Zabelin.

“Every day, more and more people come to vaccination centers deployed throughout the republic. There are about 800 thousand people in the republic who have passed both stages of vaccination. Moreover, this week, health care workers jabbed the millionth injection to a resident of our region,” the head of the relevant department said.

According to Maxim Zabelin, today in Bashkiria, not only the elderly but also young residents of the republic heavily suffer from COVID-19.

“In order for the virus to stop spreading and mutating, the transmission chain must be interrupted. If we could achieve this earlier by limiting contacts, now there is a way much more effective and reliable - vaccination! It is important that each person is responsible for their own health, as well as for the health, and possibly the life of those around them,” the Minister of Health of Bashkiria emphasized.
