Head of Bashkiria is visiting Khaibullinsky district to assess situation with forest fires

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, is on a working trip to the Khaibullinsky district today, where he assesses the situation with forest fires on the spot.

“We are flying around the territory of forest fires. We are assessing the situation from above now and we will draw conclusions at the site”, the Head of the Region posted on his social networks.

As of 06:00 am on August 10, 27 forest fires are active in the republic, the total area of which is 3,104.8 hectares on the territory of Khaibullinsky, Zilairsky, Burzyansky, Zianchurinsky, Abzelilovsky districts. Most of these fires are spreading rapidly in hard-to-reach and mountain-taiga areas and steppe territories.

Today, on August 10, the emergency volunteer center, created at the Republican Center for Resource Volunteering, sent detachments of volunteers to help forest fires extinguishing.
