Number of hospitalized with COVID-19 is reduced in Bashkiria

According to the republican emergency operations center, as of August 5, 2021, another 259 people were diagnosed with a new coronavirus infection. The total number of cases reached 49,544 people.

9 deaths from COVID-19 were registered per day. The total number of deaths reached 814 people, most of them over the age of 60 (648 people).

612 people are treated in hospitals, including 381 patients aged 60+. 44 patients are in serious condition, 4 are connected to lung ventilators.

2,597 patients are on outpatient treatment, 1,053 patients over the age of 60 years.

224 people were discharged from hospitals per day, 45,521 were discharged for the whole period.

The number of cases with community-acquired pneumonia per day was 128. Patients discharged with recovery from pneumonia - 125.

A total of 3,554,570 tests were taken. 11,559 tests per day.

The Republic of Bashkortostan received 1,066,938 doses of COVID-19 vaccines. 972 059 people were vaccinated with the first dose (91.1% of the received vaccines). 736 861 people fully completed vaccination (first and second dose).

During the day, 25 630 people jabbed the vaccine (the first dose - 10 026, the second - 15 604). Number of vaccinated 60+: 1st dose - 240 935 people, 2nd dose - 202 454 people.
