Bashkiria will receive batches of "CoviVac", "EpiVacCorona" and "Sputnik V" vaccines

This week, the health care system of Bashkiria will receive 3,500 doses of CoviVac vaccine, 110,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine, and 1,000 doses of EpiVacCorona. Health Minister Maxim Zabelin announced this at a briefing session in the government. Each vaccination station will receive a certain number of doses, depending on the assigned population.

940 535 people have already jabbed the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine (this is 88.5% of the vaccine received), vaccination has been fully completed in 688 582 people. More than 1 million 65 thousand 338 doses of coronavirus vaccines have arrived in Bashkiria, as of August 2, for the entire time of the pandemic.

According to Maxim Zabelin, the occupancy of the bed capacity is 88%. The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, noted that the number of new cases was not decreasing. However, the epidemiological situation remains stable.

There are 185 vaccination stations in Bashkiria, including mobile ones. According to Maksim Zabelin, more than 30 refrigerators will be delivered to the districts this week, thanks to sponsorship. This will increase the number of mobile teams that can be used in mass vaccination against COVID-19.
