Eight more people become victims of coronavirus in Bashkiria

Over the past day, eight people have become victims of coronavirus infection. 748 people have died in the region since the beginning of the pandemic from COVID-19, the Republican Ministry of Health stated.

According to the agency's operational information, 258 coronavirus cases have been identified over the past day. In total, about 47.5 thousand cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the region.

"There are 647 people in hospitals of the republic, 64 of them are in serious condition," the Ministry of Health said. "More than 2.3 thousand patients are treated on an outpatient basis. More than 280 people were discharged per day with recovery. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, over 43.7 thousand people have been discharged from hospitals".

As for community-acquired pneumonia, 132 such cases were identified in Bashkiria over the past 24 hours. Moreover, 124 people were discharged from hospitals during the same time.
