Turkey proposed to tighten COVID measures for Russian tourists

In Turkey, amid an increase in the COVID incidence in the country, it was proposed to tighten COVID measures for tourists from Russia. The head of the Union of Infectious Diseases of Turkey, Mehmet Ceyhan wrote about this on Twitter.
As the RIA Novosti reports, on July 24, the daily increase in new cases of COVID in Turkey amounted to 12,381 - this is the maximum figure since May 12. It has almost tripled since the beginning of July. The Health Minister, Fahrettin Koca, called for a return to strict restrictions.
According to official data from Stopkoronavirus.rf, 24,072 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Russia over the past 24 hours in 85 regions, of which 2,346 (9.8%) are active in contact persons without clinical manifestations of the disease. In total, 6 126 541 people were identified in 85 regions in the country. Also, 779 deaths were recorded per day. Over the entire period, 153,874 people died from coronavirus in Russia.
As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, in Bashkortostan, as of 11:00 on July 25, 46,708 cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed. During the day, the number of cases was 248 people. There are 598 patients in hospitals, 59 of them are in serious condition, and 7 are connected to lung ventilators. There are 2,278 people on outpatient treatment. 43 103 people recovered from the disease, 99 - over the last day. The death toll has increased by six and is 729 people.
