Teaching staff shortage is observed in Bashkiria

There is a deficit in the pedagogical labor market in the republic; there are not enough 1,500 teachers. This was announced by the Minister of Education of Bashkiria Aibulat Khazhin at a meeting with the co-chairman of the Central Headquarters of the All People’s Front, the head of the Sirius Educational Center Elena Shmeleva, and the heads of colleges. In this regard, a high average load on teachers is recorded; it was almost 1.5, Khazhin said.
According to the minister, Bashkortostan ranks fifth in terms of the number of functioning institutions of secondary vocational education. 96 colleges start training in 136 specialties and 90-100 blue-collar occupations.
“We are updating the technical base. Modern workshops are being opened within the framework of the "Young Professionals" project. This year their number will grow to 67,” Aibulat Khazhin said.
Shmeleva noted that now the task was to expand the availability of education and reduce the shortage of teaching staff. This can be done through modular programs with leading universities that will enrich faculty.
Now, according to Elena Shmelina, integrated training is in demand - pre-professional programs. It relates to a partnership between an employer and an educational institution, using the resources of industrial partners. The work qualifications that can be given in the framework of general education programs should provide an opportunity to gain experience in the work profession.
