Five more died from COVID-19 in Bashkiria per day

In Bashkiria, 717 people have died from coronavirus infection since the beginning of the pandemic, five of whom have died in the last 24 hours. The press service of the Republican Ministry of Health reports.

According to the department, over the past day, 245 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the region. In total, since the spring of last year, over 46.2 thousand people have got infected with coronavirus in Bashkiria.

“Today, there are 668 patients with the coronavirus infection in hospitals, 64 of which are in serious condition,” the Ministry of Health of the Republic informs. “More than 2.1 thousand people are treated on an outpatient basis. 317 people were discharged from hospitals per day with recovery”.

Meanwhile, during the same time, 137 new cases of community-acquired pneumonia were registered in Bashkiria. 124 people were discharged per day with recovery.
